Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Hover Aerial Imaging (www.hoverai.au). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the professional services we provide. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Professional Services & Data Accuracy

HoverAI provides high-fidelity digital twin solutions, drone-based photogrammetry, and automated defect detection.
-
Accuracy Metrics: We operate at high tiers of geospatial accuracy, typically achieving horizontal accuracy of 1cm+1ppm and vertical accuracy of 1.5cm+1ppm.
-
Relative Accuracy: We achieve relative accuracies of 3-5mm, with overall span dimensional accuracy typically within 10mm.
-
Technical Limitations: While we provide engineering-grade data suitable for LOD 400 workflows, environmental factors (weather, satellite geometry, site obstructions) can impact final results.

2. Legal Surveying Status

-
Non-Licensed Status: HoverAI provides GIS-grade data for site planning, volumetric analysis, and pre-design support.

-
Surveyor Partnerships: We are not licensed land surveyors. Our data is intended to support engineering and design workflows. If a certified cadastral survey or legal boundary sign-off is required, we work in conjunction with licensed surveyor partners.

3. AI-Powered Defect Detection

-
Automated Feature Recognition: We utilize AI to automate defect detection (e.g., 0.2mm cracks, spalling, rust) within our photogrammetry models.
-
Human-in-the-Loop: Automated results are a diagnostic aid. Final structural assessments should be verified by a qualified engineer using the provided geolocated data.

4. Operations & Safety

-
Risk Management: Our digital workflows are designed to replace high-risk manual inspections.
-
Pilot Authority: Pilots operate from safe ground positions. The Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) has final authority over flight safety and may abort operations due to weather, airspace restrictions, or site hazards.
-
Site Access: The client is responsible for ensuring HoverAI has legal access to the flight area and necessary permissions from landholders or stakeholders.

5. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

-
Deliverables: Upon full payment, clients are granted a license to use the final processed deliverables (reports, 3D models, orthomosaics) for their intended project purpose.
-
Raw Data: HoverAI retains ownership of raw flight data, proprietary AI processing workflows, and internal Quality Reports unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Liability & Indemnity

-
Data Application: HoverAI is not liable for engineering or construction decisions made based on our data. We deliver a "digital baseline"; final structural health determinations are the responsibility of the asset owner or project engineer.
-
Service Interruptions: We are not liable for project delays caused by factors outside our control, such as CASA flight restrictions or adverse weather conditions.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Queensland.
